Dr. Peter Kantzilieris, DC, ICCSP, CVSMT


Dr. Peter Kantzilieris is a dedicated chiropractic physician committed to holistic, patient-centered care. He is a proud graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from Rutgers University, where his interest in functional movement and preventative healthcare began. He also completed the International Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) at the New York Chiropractic College giving him the option to practice in sports arenas around the world.

Born and raised in North Bergen, New Jersey, Dr. Kantzilieris spent five formative years in Greece, deepening his appreciation for his cultural roots. A proud graduate and Valedictorian of North Bergen High School, he began cultivating his passion for healthcare at a young age, volunteering weekends at Palisades Medical Center—an experience that would spark a lifelong commitment to helping others.

While pursuing his education, Dr. Kantzilieris worked for over 11 years at Eye to Eye Vision Center in Paramus, NJ, balancing full-time responsibilities while completing both his undergraduate and chiropractic studies. During this time, he proudly supported the eye care needs of the Paramus community. As part of his clinical training, he completed an internship at New Haven Medical in Connecticut and served as Treasurer for the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA). His leadership in that role allowed him to network with healthcare professionals nationwide and advocate for the chiropractic profession. He traveled to Washington, D.C., where he lobbied for improved healthcare legislation and better access to care for U.S. veterans.

Dr. Kantzilieris is an active member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors and serves on the Association Development Committee, contributing to the advancement of chiropractic practice across the state.

Deeply committed to youth development and physical fitness, Dr. Kantzilieris has volunteered extensively with the Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS), coaching in Glen Rock and Cresskill, NJ, and later launching and managing the HKRS in Paramus. He also coached spring and cross-country track for the Emerson Recreation Department and currently serves as Vice President of the town’s recreation track board. For over a decade, he has been a proud member of the Rotary Club of Paramus, where he has held several leadership roles including Secretary, Vice President, and President. He now serves as the club’s Fellowship Director, planning community-building and social events.


Dr. Kantzilieris is certified in:

  • Activator Technique
  • Fascial Movement Taping (FMT/RockTape)
  • Graston Technique
  • Certified Medical Examiner, allowing him to conduct CDL physicals for the Department of Transportation (DOT)

His passion for animals inspired him to expand his care beyond humans. Dr. Kantzilieris completed advanced training at the Healing Oasis and Wellness Center in Wisconsin and is now a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapist (CVSMT). This certification allows him to offer chiropractic care to your beloved pets, improving the quality of life for all members of the family—two-legged and four-legged alike.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kantzilieris enjoys spending time with his dog, Jax, hiking, jogging, and working on home improvement projects. He remains passionate about making a difference in both human and animal health.
